Women in Mining Argentina will participate in the Expo San Juan Minera 2020 organized by Panorama Minero, to be held in an extraordinary virtual format on October 21, 22 and 23. The main federal mining exhibition in the country, in addition to being the first online in the sector in the year, is positioned as a plural meeting open to the entire community.
Women in Mining indicated that they will participate in the Expo through a fair booth, from which they will accompany the gender equity initiatives promoted by the mining sector to respond to current social, economic and cultural demands.
WiM Argentina’s objective of participation is to provide information to women interested in participating in the mining industry and strengthen strategic links with a view to increasing female labor participation. Also, WiM Argentina will give specialized conferences and plans to hold the Annual Meeting of Argentine Mining Women within the framework of the Expo.
