Catamarca Minera y Energética (CAMYEN) launched the digital platform camyeninvestments.com.ar, which consists of a geological and mining database containing comprehensive information on 456 provincial mining assets. According to the information provided, it is the first tool of its kind in Argentina to integrate technical, legal and infrastructure data with unrestricted public access.

Interactive Platform with Classified Mining Assets
The platform provides interactive details on the location of each mining asset, the minerals present, its current legal status and essential technical variables to optimize strategic decision-making. The 456 assets are classified according to geological and mining groups and criteria, allowing dynamic searches based on potential, mineral type and stage of development.
In this regard, the platform integrates geological data with critical factors for logistics and industrial development: road network (national and provincial routes providing logistics connectivity), energy supply (high-voltage transmission lines and available sources), air connectivity (airports and strategic airstrips) and regional development variables incorporating social and environmental criteria.
According to CAMYEN’s technical team, “this dynamic cross-referencing of data” allows investors, technical specialists and policymakers to “assess in real time the logistical feasibility of projects, the costs of the required infrastructure and alignment with international environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards.”
Transparency and Open Data Framework
The launch is framed within the principles of transparency and open data established by the new law transforming CAMYEN into a Single-Shareholder Corporation (S.A.U.). In this way, the public and industry stakeholders are guaranteed open, agile and transparent access to highly valuable strategic information on the province’s mining assets.
The institutional presentation was attended by Governor Raúl Jalil, Vice Governor Rubén Dusso, President of the Chamber of Deputies Paola Fedeli, Minister of Mining Teresita Regalado, and other officials and industry representatives.
Jalil highlighted that the platform represents “a strategic digital tool that integrates mining assets, geological potential, infrastructure and sustainable development standards,” emphasizing that “through open and transparent data, we continue to promote modern and sustainable mining for the development of Catamarca.”
First Phase of a Comprehensive Three-Stage Plan
The launch of the portal represents the first phase of a comprehensive plan structured in three stages, promoted since the beginning of the year by interdisciplinary teams comprising professionals from CAMYEN’s geology, IT and legal departments. The next phases will include functional expansions of the platform that will further enhance access to strategic information on the province’s mining assets.
CAMYEN noted that work on this software has been underway since the beginning of the year, describing it as an “unusual” project due to the scale of its development.
