  • “I love talking about the future: we have four world-class copper projects -Vicuña, Los Azules, Altar and Pachón-, but I also like to talk about the present: we have two gold mines in production -Veladero and Gualcamayo-, to which the reactivation of Casposo has been added, in addition to putting into operation a new gold mine after 17 years.”

  • “We are talking about concrete facts, based on clear policies that have been implemented by the government, from the first day we took office.”

  • “San Juan concentrates 80% of Argentina’s mining supply; this makes us the epicenter of Argentine copper mining, and also obliges us to be consistent with these deposits and with this blessing of nature.”

  • “Although it is an issue that must be treated cautiously, which has half approval in the Senate Chamber (Glacier Law), I believe it has been a very important step for a federal country like Argentina, and also for the development of San Juan, in which returning this treatment to the provinces their authority of evaluation is something very valuable for us and in which we are eager for it to happen for a province with full capacities to carry out this type of evaluations.”
