The MARA Copper-Gold Project will begin ecological restoration work at Campo Grande, near Andalgalá in Catamarca Province, after completing the technical studies required by provincial authorities.

The restoration program will be carried out in two phases. The first will focus on rehabilitating access roads and drill platforms created during previous exploration activities, while the second will involve revegetating the area with native plant species.
Civil works have been awarded to MAFAP, a contractor based in Andalgalá, which will be responsible for site preparation and restoration activities.
The biological component will be carried out directly by Minera Agua Rica, with priority given to hiring workers from the nearby district of Choya for the revegetation program.
The restoration plan for the Campo Grande (Yutuyaco) and Pabellón areas was presented in late 2025 and is expected to take between four and five months to complete.
According to the company, the work is scheduled to begin ahead of the region's rainy season, when site access becomes more difficult.
The restoration initiative forms part of a broader environmental program that also includes upgrades to Choya's drinking water treatment plant and a new water intake system on the Choya River.
