The announcement was made on June 12 in the city of Salta during the official presentation of the new academic cycle. The initiative is promoted by JSC Soluciones Integrales in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Undersecretariat of Education and Employment of the Province of Salta, which support the development of the training program.

The new format will provide intensive courses directly within local communities, with the objective of improving access to educational opportunities for young people and adults across the region. Participants will be able to attend classes without leaving their hometowns, gaining free access to training designed to support personal, professional, and workforce development.

The launch event brought together representatives from the public sector, community leaders, and institutions linked to education and productive activities. Attendees included Salta’s Secretary of Mining, Gustavo Carrizo; the Mayor of Tolar Grande, Sergio Villanueva; and representatives from the communities of Tolar Grande, Salar de Pocitos, Olacapato, and Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes. Representatives from educational institutions, labor organizations, business chambers, and mining-related organizations also participated.

Since its creation in 2018, the JSC Puna Schools have graduated more than 200 students. Over the years, the initiative has established itself as a training alternative focused on providing knowledge and skills related to the gastronomy sector, creating new educational opportunities for residents of different communities throughout the province.

Former students from previous editions held in San Antonio de los Cobres and General Güemes also participated in the event. Graduates shared their experiences and educational journeys, describing the impact that the training had on their personal and professional development.

One of the key aspects of the program is that participants who complete the training receive officially recognized certificates with national validity, thanks to the institutional support of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Undersecretariat of Education and Employment of the Province of Salta.

JSC Soluciones Integrales, a Salta-based company registered in the Provincial Registry of Local Mining Suppliers, provides a range of services to the mining industry, including catering, accommodation, cleaning, laundry, maintenance, modular housing, and project management. The company also supports initiatives focused on training and collaboration with communities in the regions where it operates, promoting local employment and the development of regional suppliers.
