Belararox Limited (ASX: BRX) announced the successful completion of its 2024/2025 drilling program at the Toro-Malambo-Tambo (TMT) Project, located in San Juan Province, Argentina, one of the most dynamic jurisdictions for copper development in Latin America.

The company reported that on April 25, it completed the demobilization of site personnel, adhering to the planned schedule to avoid weather-related risks associated with the onset of winter snowfalls.

Drilling of the second hole (TMT-TSU-DDH-002) at the Tambo South prospect reached the planned depth of 1,305 metres, intercepting the top of the copper porphyry system predicted by the Cohen 3D model.

According to preliminary geological logging, the hole intersected multiple mineralized intrusions, evidenced by the presence of covellite, chalcocite, and chalcopyrite. "This configuration suggests a complex geological environment with the potential for larger-scale copper mineralization," the company noted.

However, initial observations indicate that the porphyry system has not yet been fully tested, suggesting that future drilling campaigns may require deeper exploration.

All core samples have been submitted to ALS Laboratory for geochemical and spectrometry analysis. The results, expected by the end of May, will enable updates to the 3D geological models and help define new target zones.

Logistics Optimization and Next Steps

During this season, Belararox also completed the construction of new access roads within the project area, significantly improving site connectivity and laying the groundwork for future exploration activities.

In May and June, the company will focus on the integrated analysis of geological, geochemical, and magnetic data, as well as planning the next field season, scheduled to begin in November 2025.

Following these developments, Arvind Misra, Managing Director of Belararox, emphasized the significance of the recent progress: "Reaching 1,300 metres of depth and intersecting multiple copper-bearing intrusions at Tambo South represents a major milestone for Belararox and the TMT Project. We validated our targeting approach based on geological models, and while initial observations confirm the presence of copper, further testing at depth will be required. With all samples now submitted and detailed core logging underway, we are well-positioned to refine our geological models and further evaluate the copper porphyry potential in the upcoming campaigns."
