Organized by Panorama Minero, this event brings together since 2011 more than 500 national and international representatives of the lithium mining industry per year. For this 2020, in its ninth edition, the modality will be virtual and will take place on November 18 and 19. Mining companies with operations in lithium salars of the region, diplomatic representatives, suppliers and public and private organizations will participate in this double conference day.
The reactivation of the economy, necessary for the post-pandemic, will consolidate the participation of some strategic minerals such as lithium in global markets, essential for the manufacture of electric vehicles, batteries and the new sustainable paradigms. This mineral, for which Argentina has great potential, is called to revolutionize mobility and transport systems: hence its importance as a strategic resource for the future.
Considering this scenario, the International Seminar: Lithium in the South American Region will try, through the conferences of specialists and referents of the sector, to deepen the projections of the lithium market in the short and medium term, as well as the general state of the industry related to the effects of the pandemic.
The modality will be fully virtual, from an interactive platform that Panorama Minero will present shortly. Also, different exclusive business rounds will be held for mining companies and suppliers during both days.
