Minas Argentinas S.A., a company of Aisa Group dedicated to operating the Gualcamayo mine, officially inaugurated its new offices on October 10 at the former Cinzano site in the city of San Juan. The space, which had remained abandoned for years, is now being revitalized with the company’s arrival, creating a new hub of economic and professional activity in the area.

Through the redevelopment of the winery's old administrative building, the structure—facing Avenida José Ignacio de la Roza—was transformed into the new administrative headquarters for both the Gualcamayo Mine and Aisa Group in Argentina. The building now features spacious, modern, and comfortable offices, including a coworking space for over 70 people, six meeting rooms, and all necessary facilities for daily operations. Additionally, the building has been equipped with solar panels, generating almost all the energy it consumes, reaffirming the Group’s commitment to efficiency and responsible resource use.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by provincial authorities, representatives from Aisa Group, suppliers, industry peers, and friends who support Minas Argentinas’ operations in San Juan.

“Our model is different. We focus on the permanent reinvestment of everything we generate, with a strong commitment to the region. It’s a model that seeks to live up to the expectations of our people. We aim to build a legacy of development for the communities we work with,” said Juan José Retamero, founder of Aisa Group.

“It’s a great joy to see projects become a reality. About a year ago, they came to show me these plans on paper—and today, we’re seeing it all come to life,” added Marcelo Orrego, Governor of San Juan.

The relocation of the offices is part of a broader process of institutional consolidation for Minas Argentinas in the province, alongside recent progress at the Gualcamayo Mine. The company recently received approval for the seventh update of its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), confirming the quality of its management during the evaluation period and enabling the permitting process for the Deep Carbonates Project (DCP), which will extend the productive life of the mine for at least 20 more years.

The Deep Carbonates Project is currently in an advanced stage of engineering and technical and economic feasibility studies, positioning Gualcamayo as one of the most significant gold developments in San Juan in the coming years.

With this inauguration, Aisa Group reaffirms its long-term commitment to the province by combining investment, job creation, and urban revitalization. The former Cinzano site has now been transformed into a productive and innovative space with a positive impact on the local community. Over the coming years, the holding led by Retamero will also carry out a major real estate development on the property, including residential complexes, a shopping center, a hotel, and more.

Minas Argentinas continues to strengthen its presence in San Juan through investments that promote sustainable development, enhance the value chain, and create genuine employment opportunities in the region.
