The state-owned mining company from Catamarca, CAMYEN S.E., played a leading role in two key spaces: the "Investment Conference in Jimei – Latin American Session" and the "Investment Matchmaking Session – Hailian Latin American Countries", where it presented its portfolio of mining areas available for national and international bidding.

CAMYEN: A Mining Offer Focused on the Energy Transition
During the presentations, CAMYEN S.E. President Hugo Moya highlighted the company’s strategic projects, including Filo de las Vicuñas and Gold Nugget, located near the Tres Quebradas project, operated by Zijin Mining. This geological and logistical proximity represents an added attraction for investors, especially in a context where lithium and critical metals are gaining prominence on the global energy agenda. The Catamarca delegation included Minister of Mining Marcelo Murúa, Board Member of CAMYEN S.E. Gabriel Molina, and Secretary of Mining Development Teresita Regalado.
CIFIT: A Global Platform for Mining Investment
CIFIT (China International Fair for Investment and Trade) is the most important investment fair in China and one of the most influential globally. In this edition, agreements worth over US$90 billion were signed, with the participation of more than 120 countries and regions. Catamarca shared panels with figures such as Ling Ji (Vice Minister of Commerce of China) and Pedro Manuel Moreno (Deputy Secretary-General of UNCTAD), among other international leaders. Catamarca's presence at this event reaffirms its internationalization strategy and its goal of becoming a reliable, transparent, and competitive mining hub.
Active and Forward-Looking Mining Diplomacy
Vice Governor Rubén Dusso held institutional meetings with authorities from Fujian Province, strengthening bilateral cooperation ties. In his remarks, he emphasized the role of mining as a driver of regional development and highlighted the public-private partnership model promoted by the province. Participation in CIFIT not only positions CAMYEN as a key player in attracting investments but also projects Catamarca as a strategic territory in the global energy transition.
