Pablo Sampallo has been appointed Commercial and Business Development Manager at Milicic S.A., effective this month. With a distinguished career in the automotive and mining industries, he will lead the company's commercial strategy at a key moment for Milicic's operations. Sampallo succeeds Gustavo Mas in the position.

Sampallo's appointment is part of Milicic S.A.'s plan to strengthen its capabilities and enhance its value proposition. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading Milicic's commercial strategy across its different market segments, reinforcing the company's regional expansion, and generating new business opportunities, with a focus on collaborative models, strategic partnerships, and relationships with key stakeholders in the regions where the company operates.

Sampallo is an executive with more than 30 years of experience leading Supply Chain Management, Global Procurement, and Logistics, supported by a strong background in Sales, Marketing, Aftermarket, and Distribution. He developed much of his career at General Motors, holding managerial and executive positions in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and the Middle East.

More recently, he led the Supply Chain strategy at Cerro Negro (Newmont Mining), where he successfully combined a commercial perspective with operational excellence and the development of local suppliers.

He began his professional career at Boehringer Mannheim and SKF. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Production Organization from the Argentine University of Enterprise (UADE), an MBA from Universidad Austral, and a Specialization in Project Management from UADE.
