Canadian company Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp, a member of the Grosso Group, has announced positive results from its fourteenth exploration well at the Rincon West Project, located in Salta Province. A total of 16 representative brine samples, collected in 2.5 to 3-meter intervals over a 225-meter section in well RW-DDH-14, recorded lithium concentrations ranging from 277 to 379 mg/l.

Miles Rideout, Vice President of Exploration, emphasized that the 14 wells drilled to date have confirmed the property's potential. “The results support our interpretation of conductive formations identified through geophysical surveys, validating our exploration model with competitive lithium grades,” Rideout stated.
The Argentina Lithium team is currently working on a resource model for the initial exploration area, located on the western side of the Rincon salt flat, adjacent to Rio Tinto’s Rincon Project. This modeling incorporates results from ongoing pump tests at the project's first rotary-drilled well. Additionally, the company plans to drill new rotary wells, pending approval of the necessary permits.
Meanwhile, Salta's provincial ministry is reviewing a drilling permit application for the eastern Don Fermin block, an area that has not yet been drilled but has shown extensive geophysical responses suggesting the presence of conductive subsurface targets.
The Rincon West Project spans approximately 5,200 hectares within the salt flat basin and consists of three property blocks contiguous to Rio Tinto's Rincon Project. Well RW-DDH-14 is the fifth well in a six-hole drilling program at the Rinconcita II property, originally announced on October 19, 2023. The company is currently completing a long-duration pump test at the sixth well (RW-RT-01), a deep rotary well located next to RW-DDH-11.
