At Expo San Juan Minera 2026, technology company Datawise presented its comprehensive proposal for the extractive sector. With more than 15 years of experience in the market, the company seeks to consolidate its presence in San Juan by offering solutions ranging from infrastructure to applied artificial intelligence.

A Federal and Regional Expansion with a Strategic Vision

Ignacio Molina, Marketing Manager at Datawise, highlighted during the event that participating in the exhibition represented an ambitious commitment for the company. According to Molina, although the company already had several projects within the mining sector on its radar, having a physical presence in San Juan is essential to generate effective brand positioning at a time when the business is perceived as “latent.” The executive emphasized the company’s structure, which includes a headquarters in Buenos Aires and a federal network with offices in Rosario and Santa Fe, in addition to regional expansion that already includes operations in Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.

The scale and organization of Expo San Juan Minera 2026 surprised the marketing team. Molina noted that both the volume and quality of attendees aligned with the company’s objectives, allowing interaction with major corporations as well as smaller ventures. In this sense, he stressed that Datawise offers world-class solutions adapted to different budget levels, ensuring that cutting-edge hardware and software are accessible to any type of mining company.

Robust Infrastructure and the “As a Service” Model

Yanina Marciano, Commercial Manager at Datawise, emphasized that the primary objective of the company’s arrival in the province is to federalize its technological offering. Marciano stated that modern mining development requires robust IT infrastructure capable of processing, storing, and above all protecting the critical volumes of information generated at every phase of a project.

To address these needs, Datawise markets world-class solutions supported by strategic alliances with technology leaders such as HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise). These tools allow mining companies to efficiently manage data from exploration through operations. An important aspect of the commercial strategy presented by Marciano is the company’s cloud services offering under the “as a service” model. This approach allows mining companies to transform initial capital investments (CAPEX) into monthly operating expenses (OPEX), providing financial predictability and scalability essential for long-term projects.

Marciano also highlighted one of the company’s differentiating values: data sovereignty. As a company with Argentine capital, Datawise guarantees that strategic information remains under local control while complying with the highest standards of security and availability currently demanded by the industry.

Technological Convergence and the Power of Artificial Intelligence

From a technical and innovation perspective, Néstor G. Rosemberg, Solutions Architect and member of the Innovation Management team, explained that the mining sector is undergoing a process of accelerated technological convergence. The industry requires processing data with greater speed and efficiency while ensuring that information remains available and protected 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Rosemberg emphasized the immediacy of data as a factor that provides speed and value throughout the entire production chain. “Data collected directly at the machine or drilling site is 100% reliable,” explained the solutions architect, highlighting that immediate processing allows information to flow in real time from the extraction site to headquarters or laboratories through satellite networks.

Regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI), Rosemberg described it not as a futuristic technology, but as a tool already integrated into current processes to optimize them. The implementation of AI can reduce the duration of complex operational processes from a scale of 100 down to levels of 75, 60, or even 50, while maintaining the required quality standards. This vision is shared by the commercial management team, as Marciano added that Datawise’s specialized AI unit helps transform information into agile decision-making, improving traceability and operational productivity.

Toward a More Sustainable and Minimalist Mining Industry

Datawise’s commitment to sustainability was a recurring theme in the statements of its representatives. Néstor Rosemberg detailed that the solutions proposed by the company aim to be minimalist and sustainable: equipment that occupies less space, consumes less energy, and has a longer lifespan. This approach not only seeks operational efficiency, but also aims to contribute positively to the local environment in mining regions by avoiding unnecessary construction and optimizing energy consumption.
