Minera Cordillera SA, operator of the Tres Cruces 3C Project in Fiambalá, Tinogasta department, formalized the agreement with the local chamber to consolidate a structured local procurement scheme and organize the provision of logistics and operational services linked to mining activity.

According to representatives involved in the signing, the agreement recognizes the Chamber as the legitimate channel for coordination, verification and oversight of services required by the company, ensuring that contracts are awarded to qualified local suppliers operating in compliance with current regulations.

The framework establishes transparency criteria, equitable rotation mechanisms and adherence to technical and safety standards, providing greater predictability to the relationship between mining operations and the local productive network.

Enzo Morales, President of the Chamber, stated that the agreement serves as “a concrete management tool that professionalizes the link between mining and local development, with clear rules and verifiable outcomes,” emphasizing that sustainable development requires organized local participation.

Reforestation Program And Environmental Commitment

A central component of the agreement is the implementation of a Reforestation Program in Tinogasta. The initiative will begin with the planting of approximately 1,000 native tree species.

Activities will be coordinated through the Chamber alongside local companies, contractors and community institutions, prioritizing territorial roots and positive community impact.

Both parties highlighted that the initiative aligns with responsible mining principles and ESG standards, reinforcing a development model that integrates social, environmental and productive responsibility.

Tres Cruces Project And Corporate Context

Minera Cordillera SA is an Argentine company recently acquired by 3C Resources, headquartered in Singapore. The company operates the Tres Cruces 3C Project, currently in the exploration stage, covering 27,540 hectares at approximately 4,000 meters above sea level in Tinogasta, 154 kilometers from Fiambalá.

Preliminary geophysical studies indicate that the project shares geological characteristics with the neighboring Tres Quebradas 3Q deposit, considered one of the highest-purity lithium resources globally and currently operated by Zijin-Liex SA.

Local Business Community Call To Action

In parallel, the Tinogasta Mining Suppliers Chamber invited producers, entrepreneurs and small businesses within the local productive network to join the institution and actively participate in its framework.

The Chamber stated that the objective is to strengthen its institutional role as a legitimate and organized bridge between local suppliers and mining concessionaires, promoting inclusion, dialogue and tangible development opportunities within the department.
