MARA supported the initiative of the Santa María Professional Training Center No. 2 to provide training and national certification for young welders in that department.

The young participants received intensive and personalized training as preparation for the certification process carried out by the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI). The course included theoretical and practical modules designed to refine the skills needed for welding, in line with the requirements for national certification.

The evaluation of the welders was carried out by professionals from INTI, led by Eng. Alejandro Burgueño, head of the Welding Department, who praised the high level of training of the participants and the existence of such centers where "young people have the opportunity to train and learn the trade."

These initiatives aim to professionalize the students and provide access to qualification and registration instruments_," said Miguel Paredes, Community Relations Coordinator at MARA, emphasizing that "_certifications positively impact the opening of opportunities in the job market, improving learning, the development of new skills and competencies for future jobs, with an increase in the skilled workforce in the region.

In addition to providing materials for practice, MARA supported the training and financing of the certification exam, accredited by the Argentine Steel Institute (IAS).

In line with its commitment to education and workforce development, MARA signed a framework agreement with the Santa María Professional Training Center No. 2 at the end of 2024 to carry out joint actions in training, technical and financial assistance, and professional practices, further strengthening the training of young people and workers in the community.

The educational center is renowned for its work in quality training, facilitating the employment of its students and encouraging their entrepreneurial spirit. Through strategic partnerships with institutions and companies, it seeks to generate equal opportunities and contribute to the social and productive development of the region.

With this initiative, MARA reaffirms its commitment to strengthening technical education and improving employability in neighboring communities, promoting professional growth and access to certifications that enhance local development.
