Glencore Pachón announced changes to its local leadership team as part of the natural evolution of the organization and the progress of the El Pachón Project. In this way, it ensures continuity in management, characterized by open and transparent communication, while reaffirming its commitment to San Juan and its community.
On one hand, Eng. Jorge Sausset, Institutional Relations Manager, has decided to retire after 19 years of outstanding professional career and his invaluable contribution to the development of the Project. At the same time, the company is renewing its leadership structure, enhancing the talent and experience of professionals from San Juan.
The mining company has appointed lawyer Marcos Conca as Head of Corporate and Legal Affairs. In this new stage, Marcos—who had already been leading the Legal area—will face the challenge of continuing to provide legal advice to the Project, while strengthening relationships with the local government and consolidating solid institutional ties on strategic issues.

Additionally, the company announced the appointment of María Eugenia Basualdo as Community Relations Manager. This professional, recognized for her leadership capacity, long-standing commitment, and strategic vision, has been working at Pachón for 15 years, serving the community of Calingasta, the department where she resides and where the mining project is located.

These changes will enable a more agile and robust structure, prepared to face new challenges and provide an effective response to the Project’s needs. With this leadership team, Glencore Pachón reaffirms its pride in being part of the San Juan community and its determination to continue working for mining development as a driver of progress for all.
