The Formentera Project is Patagonia Lithium’s flagship project. It is prospective for lithium
and borates, and is located in the municipality of Coranzuli in the Jujuy province.

- Drilling at Formentera concession well JAM 25-05 has reached 335m depth and drilling
recommenced on 6 January 2026. - The two packer brine samples taken from 98–104m depth and 134–140m depth have
been sent for assay to Alex Stewart and ALS Global laboratories for analysis. - A special double packer system would be used to sample all the brines once the well
reaches its terminal depth. - Four representative cores were extracted and sent to the laboratory in Buenos Aires
for porosity analysis. - To complete its environmental plan submission, samples of surface and subsurface
brines were requested to be collected and tested for oxygen 18 isotopes and
carbon 14 to determine fluvial conditions and age of brines.
Patagonia Lithium Ltd announced it has successfully taken two lots of samples and has hired a
specialised double packer system to take samples down the well with its upper level brine
contamination. The well coordinates are (POSGAR 94 system / Strip 3): X = 3,399,655,
Y = 7,412,332. Four 15cm core samples were taken and packed for porosity analysis in the
Buenos Aires testing laboratory.
Phillip Thomas, Executive Chairman commented: “We are making great progress at 335m
with no well problems. The well would be conditioned on 6 January 2026 and a packer test
may be taken prior to recommencing drilling at the 335m level. To date, we have
encountered sandy and clay layers, but the volume of brine in these layers have been very
encouraging.”
