Turmalina Metals’ focus is on tourmaline breccias, a deposit style characterized by high gold, silver, copper and molybdenum grades focused within breccia pipes that can exceed 1 km in vertical extent. These breccia pipes form in clusters providing considerable potential for resource growth, and the company has consolidated its holdings over the large breccias clusters in its projects.

Work completed at San Francisco de Los Andes includes:
- Total land position expanded to 40,340 ha (403.4 sq km), one of the largest exploration land positions in San Juan.
- Initial exploration identified more than 60 tourmaline breccias on the property
- Seven new high-priority targets identified.
- 18,622 m diamond drilling
- Extensive Geochemical work completed (1,333 m of channel samples / 7,386 rock chip samples / 406 soil samples)
