Project Details
In the central zone of the Santa Cruz Province, 150 Km North West from Puerto San Julián City.
Cerro Vanguardia concession area is approximately 514 km2. The orebodies compromise a series of epithermal vein deposits (low-sulphidation deposit). The mineralization is concentrated in quartz veins. The mine operation includes multiple open pits and several underground mines. The extracted ore of higher grade is treated in the process plant (Leaching with Cyanide, Elution, CIL, Merrill-Crowe) while the low-grade ore is treated in a Leach Pile whose solution is sent to the process plant.
