Ahead of the International Lithium Seminar, Adionics took an important step in the industrialization of lithium in Salta with the inauguration of its demonstration plant "CL15", located in the Güemes Industrial Park. This project promises to revolutionize the lithium extraction process in the region, serving as a model of technological innovation and sustainability.

The event was attended by the governor of Salta, Gustavo Sáenz, who emphasized the relevance of such projects for the province's economic development. Also present was the French Ambassador to Argentina, Romain Nadal, who highlighted the growing commercial and technological ties between Argentina and France, strengthened by Adionics' investment.

Pioneering technology in the service of sustainability

During the ceremony, Gabriel Toffani, CEO of Adionics, explained the plant’s operations and its innovative Flionex technology, which allows for direct and selective lithium extraction. “The CL15 plant will not only increase lithium production in the region but will also significantly reduce its environmental impact thanks to its low water and energy consumption,” they explained.

“The CL15 plant represents a step forward toward more sustainable lithium production, and we are proud to do it in collaboration with Salta, a strategic province in the Lithium Triangle,” Toffani remarked.

The inauguration of the CL15 not only marks a milestone in technological advancements but also in the region’s economic development. Projects like this create jobs and improve infrastructure, positioning Salta and Argentina as key players in the global lithium industry.
