During Expo Minera San Juan 2026, Solimin President Luciano Guglielmini highlighted the importance of the event, describing it as one of the largest and most well-attended mining exhibitions in Argentina. The San Juan businessman expressed his satisfaction with the large number of visitors from different provinces such as Mendoza, San Luis, Neuquén, and Buenos Aires, reflecting the nationwide interest in mining activity.
Within this context, the executive described the operations of his company, which functions as an industrial supply company specialized in the mining sector, with a presence in four provinces and several departments within San Juan. A central aspect of its operations is the manufacturing of thermal and technical clothing, a process carried out using solar energy at its local facilities.
Guglielmini emphasized the need for regional suppliers to consolidate themselves under world-class standards in order to meet the demands of the large-scale projects on the horizon. According to the Solimin representative, the key to success lies in providing excellent service and maintaining unity among local companies, avoiding unnecessary internal competition so that the industry’s progress benefits the entire community.
The businessman also analyzed the current outlook for the copper industry, stating that San Juan possesses the necessary preparation to lead this new stage. In his view, the experience gained from previous projects during the gold mining era served as a fundamental training ground that left the province fully capable of facing new mining challenges in an autonomous and competitive manner.
