Orvana's Minerals strategy in the Taguas Project –located in San Juan province- has been focused on oxide mineralization. The Company is broadening its strategy to include sulfide resources and testing for deep copper-gold porphyry potential.

Orvana Minerals is prioritizing three key exploration initiatives at Taguas:
Geological Modeling Update – Ongoing; completion expected by the end of fiscal 2025:
-
Comprehensive detailed relogging and alteration modeling;
-
Ongoing spectral scanning of drill holes in the target area every 5 m, totaling ~5,200 measurements.
Geophysical Survey – Planned for execution in Q1 fiscal 2026:
-
Objective: identify potential targets up to a depth of 1,500 m;
-
Will cover the entire area of interest, between Cerro Campamento and Cerros Taguas, 7 lines of 4.0 km.
First Deep Drilling – Expected to take place in Q2 fiscal 2026:
-
Target: drill the areas showing potential indicators of a copper-gold porphyry system, based on geophysical results and the updated geological model;
-
Preliminary plan of approximately 4,500 metres; subject to change based on geological and geophysical updates.
The Company expects to evaluate the results during the third quarter of fiscal 2026, in order to assess the strategic positioning of the property and determine the next steps.
"This exploration program is designed to enhance our understanding of the Taguas mineral system and to systematically test for copper-gold porphyry potential" said Raúl Álvarez, Director of Exploration and Technical Services.
