From 21–23 October 2025 at ICC Sydney, ALABC will host the Latin America Lounge, the Latin America Mining Dinner, and a Business Matching Day—three cornerstone events connecting ministers, ambassadors, and business leaders shaping the global mining agenda.

ALABC Latin America Lounge (Stand M43) — The Gateway to Latin American Opportunities

Officially opened by Hon. Ros Bates MP, Queensland Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training, Chilean Vice Minister for Mines Suina Chahuán Kim, and ALABC Chair Richard Andrews, the ALABC Latin America Lounge will serve as a professional hub for business engagement, presentations, and bilateral collaboration between delegations from Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, and Panama with Australian miners and METS companies

For the first time at IMARC 2025, the ALABC LaTam Lounge will showcase Latin America’s critical minerals leadership, and provide meeting spaces, presentation zones, and business matching opportunities, all designed to accelerate trade and investment outcomes.

Latin America Mining Dinner 2025 — A Premier Gathering of Global Mining Leaders

Held on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, the Latin America Mining Dinner stands as one of IMARC’s most anticipated gatherings, bringing together over 300 senior executives, government officials, and industry champions from both sides of the Pacific.

The evening will be headlined by Hon. Madeleine King MP, Minister for Resources and Minister for Northern Australia, as Keynote Speaker.

Distinguished representatives from Peru, Chile, Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, Panama, and Australia will also take part.

Guests will enjoy a refined evening of fine dining, meaningful dialogue, and networking—creating an unmatched opportunity to connect with ministers, ambassadors, and industry leaders driving resource development across continents.

Business Matching Day — Connecting Partners Across Continents

On 22 October, the Business Matching Day will bring together companies seeking partnerships in mining, METS, technology, and sustainability. With Australia identifying Latin America as a priority market, this program provides structured, one-on-one meetings that foster genuine opportunities for cooperation, innovation, and trade between Australian and Latin American businesses.

ALABC CEO Kim Prior said: “ALABC’s expanded presence at IMARC demonstrates our mission to strengthen Australia–Latin America partnerships. We’re connecting businesses, governments, and innovators to accelerate collaboration and unlock shared value across both regions.”
