Description of the company
Ganfeng Lithium was founded in 2000. It has become the world's leading producer of lithium metals and the second-largest producer of lithium compounds. With a team of over 300 research and development experts, the company operates across the entire lithium industry value chain, serving sectors such as electric vehicles, energy storage, consumer electronics, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Since its inception, Ganfeng has expanded across five continents, with operations in China, Australia, Ireland, Mexico, Mali, and Argentina. It currently manages four projects in Argentina: Cauchari-Olaroz in Jujuy province, and Mariana, Pozuelos–Pastos Grandes, and Incahuasi-Arizaro in Salta province. This makes Argentina one of the company's most important lithium mining hubs.
