Description of the company

Minera Sud Argentina S.A. is an Argentinean mineral exploration company created in 2003 by MINSUD RESOURCES INC, a parent company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, which is majority owned by Argentinean directors and shareholders. Minera Sud Argentina's main project since 2006 is the Chita Valley copper, molybdenum, gold and silver exploration project, located 35km from Iglesia in San Juan province. Exploration activities at the project are being funded by South32 Limited (‘South32’) in accordance with the Earn-In Agreement signed between the parties in 2019. In 2024, MINSUD completed the issuance to South32's subsidiary of a 50.1% interest in Minera Sud Argentina S.A. (now MSA), which owns and operates its previously named Chita Valley project, which will be referred to as the Brechas Vacas Project, due to the exploration focus within the target on the property.
