Renowned San Juan geologist Mario Hernandez has been appointed as the new Sustainability Manager for the Los Azules copper project, operated by McEwen Copper in the province of San Juan.

This was announced by Filo Corp. in a recent statement, affirming the exceptional potential to expand the high sulfidation copper, gold, and silver epithermal deposit associated with a large copper and gold porphyry system located in San Juan territory. The goal for 2024 is to evaluate the full potential of the property, globally recognized for its geological wealth.

It occurred during a meeting with First Quantum Minerals and its subsidiary Corriente Argentina S.A. The National Mining Secretary also participated. "This is one of the most important projects that could change the productive matrix of the province," the government stated.
