The information was provided by Juan Pablo Severo, Commercial Manager of Marshall Moffat, who highlighted the strong technical and commercial interest generated by the exhibition among companies, suppliers, and mining sector representatives.
During the exhibition, the company introduced its new business unit designed to complement its historic presence in the flame-resistant clothing market. The Inverness line incorporates thermal protection garments, tear-resistant clothing, waterproof apparel, and office wear for different industrial environments.
The proposal is especially aimed at meeting the needs of the mining industry, where extreme weather conditions and high-altitude work require specific solutions for worker protection.
With more than 60 years of experience in the regional market, Marshall Moffat has consolidated its leadership in the manufacturing of flame-resistant clothing and now seeks to expand its participation by offering comprehensive solutions for different strategic industries.
In addition to the new textile line, the company also presented products related to respiratory protection and industrial safety equipment. Among them, the Moldex line stood out, a brand specialized in high-performance respirators and masks.
According to the company, these products differentiate themselves by offering longer-lasting filters and improved breathability, characteristics especially valued in industrial and mining environments.
Marshall Moffat also showcased comprehensive personal protective equipment solutions, including gloves, helmets, safety glasses, and hearing protection, with the objective of offering full coverage solutions for companies across different productive sectors.
During its participation in the Expo, the company highlighted the positive expectations generated by mining development in San Juan and the growth potential projected for copper mining throughout the Cuyo region.
In this context, the company confirmed its commercial expansion into the province through the opening of a new branch office and the incorporation of local representation to strengthen its presence in the San Juan market.
Another aspect highlighted by the company was its strategic alliance with Westex Milliken, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of flame-resistant clothing based in the United States.
The international company participated in the development of apparel used in NASA’s Artemis II space mission, a project that once again positioned the aerospace industry at the center of global technological innovation.
