Perlite is a hydrated aluminosilicate glass formed through contact with groundwater during its formation. Due to its low density, perlite is an excellent filter aid for the filtration of fluids with high solid content in suspension, used across a wide variety of industrial processes.
Imerys also produces, on a global scale, Diatomaceous Earth, Kaolins, Talc, Natural and Precipitated Calcium Carbonates, among many other minerals.
